In recent years the OSE has been involved in research concerning the issue of restructuring of companies in Europe and this being taken into account in European policy in different fields (anticipation of and adaptation to change in the context of globalisation, social dialogue, European Works Councils, CSR, etc.).
|

|
|
|
The OSE thus participated in the European project AgirE (Anticipating for an Innovative Management of Restructuring in Europe) for which it produced the chapter on the complex interaction of different areas of European policy with the transversal issue of restructuring. Two documents have also been published in the framework of this project:

The OSE also participated in a project for DARES and the French Ministry of Labour, Social Relations, Family and Solidarity in which its task was to shed light on the existing training and reinsertion practices and mechanisms in several European countries the aim of which is to make the career paths of workers who have been the victim of restructuring more secure from a flexicurity perspective (Anticipation – Training – Mobility project). |

The OSE also organised a
conference in partnership with the European Commission: “EQUAL: the social partners’ groundwork on innovation” in Brussels on 30 May 2006.
