The
Observatoire social européen (OSE) has been involved in
research activities and policy advising on issues related to the impact of
European integration on national health care systems since the late 1990s.
|

The OSE is preparing a
book on the impact of EU law and policies on national healthcare
systems, in co-operation with the European Observatory on Health
Systems and Policies. This project was commissioned by the Belgian
National Institute for Health and Disability
Insurance
(INAMI/RIZIV) and the Belgian Federal Public
Service "Public Health, Food Chain Safety and Environment".

national health insurance
institute (RIZIV/INAMI) on EU
policies that might have an impact
on the Belgian health care system.
In this context analysis
and expertise have been provided
on health services in the internal
market, patient mobility in the EU, the
Services Directive,
EU pharmaceutical legislation and
human resources in health
care.
