European Integration And National Health Care Systems: A challenge for Social Policy

The Belgian Presidency of the European Union (EU) will organise this conference to initiate a scientific debate about the impact of European integration on the scope of EU Member States to develop andfund their public health care schemes autonomously. This conference will examine to what extent the specific social objectives of various European public health care systems can be safeguarded. The conference participants will include policy makers, financiers and health care providers.
