Bob Hancké was appointed Associate Researcher at the OSE in November 2025. From 2000-24, he taught Political Economy at the LSE. He was awarded his PhD from MIT, and has held positions at Harvard University, Peking University, the CEU and the EUI. He is the author of several books and over 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. At the OSE, he will be working on political-economic aspects of the green transition and industrial policies in light of the emerging bipolar world that risks leaving Europe and its socio-economic model behind.
