OSE and HIVA (KULeuven) started new research for the Belgian Social Security Administration (FPS), with a view to updating and improving the indicators used in the Belgian National Social Report and the National Reform Programme. As part of this research, Ramón Peña-Casas provided a detailed picture of (very) low work intensity households in Belgium, using register data available in the ‘Data Warehouse Labour Market and Social Protection’ (Datawarehouse marché du travail et protection sociale), which is managed by Crossroads Bank of Social Security.

L'OSE a lancé un nouveau projet de recherche, en collaboration avec le Réseau européen anti-pauvreté (EAPN), qui est en charge de sa coordination générale. Financé par la Commission européenne, le projet de Réseau européen sur le revenu minimum (European Minimum Income Network, EMIN) visera tout d’abord à construire un réseau d'experts nationaux (des ONG impliquées dans le domaine social et la lutte contre la pauvreté ainsi que des personnes en situation de pauvreté) dans le but d'examiner et de comparer les situations nationales en ce qui concerne les régimes de revenu minimum.
